Vincent Opyene rubs shoulders with ex Botswana president Seretse Khama Ian Khama in South Africa.

The Chief Executive Officer of Natural Resource Network, Vincent Opyene, recently participated in a workshop that was held in South Africa and was organized by the Attorney General Alliance of Africa in partnership with Good Governance Africa.

Putting an end to the illegal trade in wildlife in Southern Africa was the primary emphasis of the training course.

Because of Vincent’s extensive expertise and valuable contributions to the effort to combat wildlife crime, he was invited to give a presentation in SouthAfrica on the topic of enhancing anti-poaching techniques and combating wildlife crime in Uganda.

At the session, His Excellency Seretse Khama, who had previously served as President of Botswana, was one of the dignitaries in attendance.
